Graduation Ceremony
Graduates who successfully complete their studies are sent off to a new life with ceremonies held by the academic units; top-ranking graduates are honored with awards.
Culture & Sports Festival
Held every April–May, the festival features sports matches, concerts, theater and dance performances, panels, competitions and stand-up shows.
Academic Opening Ceremony
At the ceremony held at the start of the academic year, esteemed figures deliver the 'opening lecture' and the Academic Chamber Orchestra gives a concert.
Project Fair
At the Project Fair, where students' projects are presented through oral, poster and computer presentations, the most admired projects qualify for the Regional Project Fair competition.
Career Days
Bringing public and private-sector representatives together with students, Career Days contribute to students' personal development with internship and job opportunities.
Communities & Units

Student Communities
Ninety student communities established in fields such as sports, science, art, nature, history and culture encourage students to pursue their hobbies and develop their personal talents. The events they organize enliven social life and give students opportunities for interaction, sharing and effective communication.

Mersin University Sports Club
Active since 2004, the club organizes sports schools for children and youth aged 4–16 in basketball, volleyball, football, gymnastics, swimming, ballet and tennis. With experienced coaches, it trains athletes who compete in various leagues and categories.

Academic Chamber Orchestra
Operating within the Chamber Music Application and Research Center, the orchestra stands out in the city's artistic events with its young, dynamic structure and rich repertoire. It has given more than a hundred concerts in Mersin and across various provinces of Türkiye.

Mersin University Radio
Broadcasting 24/7 at 102.8 MHz from the Faculty of Communication's studios, the radio embraces quality and public-broadcasting principles. Run by the Radio, Cinema and Television Department, it gives students hands-on experience and helps develop their creativity.
